Nurse Shark Areas
There has
been no increase to the current protected zones, in particular, no
protection has been afforded to the areas known as Gotham City and China
Wall.
Green
Zones
It
is noted that no protection of any form has been afforded to Manta Bommies.

Anchoring Zones
The
Draft plan proposes 3 no anchoring zones – 2 of which are of significance to
divers; Flinders Reef and Flat Rock (the other area is Myora). The no
anchoring zones are the same as the Green (Marine National Park) Zones.
Anchoring is completely prohibited in these areas.
