The MiCat Barge pulls up on the beach in the harbour created by the
Tangalooma Wrecks. The Barge takes just over an hour from Whyte Island
in the Brisbane River to reach the blue water and white sands of Moreton
Island.
Consists of a line of old Harbours and Marine Department
steam driven dredges and barges on the edge of a sandbank one km north of
Tangalooma resort. Can be dived as a drift dive or on slack tide.
Small swim out from shore, just have to dodge the pleasure boats that
frequent the area.
