Diver 1 is a non displacing mono hull and is best described as a rigid inflatable boat. Her rigid hull is fabricated from aluminium which is much lighter than glass reinforced plastic or steel and has a strength advantage over timber vessels of a similar size.

Air pontoons are formed as gunwales, they provide most of diver 1's buoyancy. The removable canopy contains a series of overhead nets for the safe storage of dry gear. A ladder is installed on the transom for easy water exits.

For safety reasons, all tanks are strapped in during travel.

Diver 1 is powered by a 115 HP, two stroke Yamaha outboard engine. She runs on unleaded fuel and is equipped with an oil injection system that calculates and adds the correct ratio of oil for the running conditions.

As standard, Diver 1 carries up to a total of 150 litres of fuel. She has a fully loaded fuel economy of around one litre per kilometre, so cruising for long periods is not a problem.

Launching is no problem too, she can be put in on the beach or at a boat ramp.

Diver 1 carries all the necessary emergency, fire fighting, first aid and oxygen resuscitation equipment. She also boasts a full compliment of Marine Electronics including:
